Korea Brand Foam Cleansers

I love to use foam cleansers despite the many articles that it is very drying for the skin. I know its bad but I just like the squeaky clean feel after cleansing, other cleansers gives me the feeling of my face not "clean" enough * =P *

The pretty packaging of korean products never fail to attract me. Here to share 2 of the foam cleansers in which I think is nice to use.

From Nature Republic. This cleanser do cleanse well, but sometimes I need to wash twice to get that super squeaky clean feel. It has a very clean and fresh scent lingering after wash.

This is my all time favorite cleanser by Etude House. It cleanse really well and I simply lurve the many many foam/bubbles it creates to make cleaning time a fun time * =) * And the sweet scent that lingers after wash is an added advantage. I also like how smooth is the texture of the cream though it might be a lil messy as it flow out from the tube a lil too easily * heehee *

Go and give them a try if you are into foam cleanser like this meow * wink wink *

Lycra in Nail Polish?

Technology indeed are improving rapidly and never fail to surprise us. Like this one;

Lycra technology embedded into nail polish???

Apparently with this addition, it helps to give extra shine as well as protects nail color from chipping easily. Well, how can I resist not to test it out? * =P *

Verdict : Did not feel much "protection". It does slide out well over nails and have a high shine.

Book Fest Sept 2010

It never crossed my mind to stop by at the Popular Book Fest currently on going at the KL Convention Centre despite my office is just a stone throw away.

My sis called me up during office hours on Wednesday to get a favour to buy a book on promo at the fest - a hard cover book usual price at rm89.90 now selling at rm 15.90.

I was a lil sceptical when I am asked to pay rm2 to just enter the hall! It did not give better impression when the first few banner I saw only call for 20% off the usual price.
However, if you brave yourself to join the crowd corner, you can find some bargains at prices under rm30, some even under rm20. Not many that cheap though.

With me having only my lunch hour to spare, I managed to grab 2 books at rm 15.90 each, which one of them is a hardcover * heehee *

And of course, to my delight, there was this promo of 6 pieces of stickers for rm5! Imagine my excitement! Hahaha - and these are good quality stickers, mind you! * =P *

So yeah, the fest is a good go provided that you;

  1. A stickers fan like moi! * =P *
  2. Have lots of books you would want to buy - else not worth the rm2 entrance fee. Hey, you will be buying things in there and on top of that you have to pay rm2 to gain entry?
  3. You have kids which you have to supply them with school books and reading materials - there was plenty at good prices
  4. You intend to stock up on stationeries - plenty on promo prices like the stickers!
  5. You can read chinese books - they have books from Taiwan, China, etc

* Smiles *

Dimsum @ IOI Marriot Putrajaya

Having breakfast dimsum at a 5 star hotel sets my expectation high. Perhaps that marred the taste buds when the food do not come with a 5 star taste * =P *

Let's start with the yummy ones ;

I like the egg tarts - very soft and fluffy centre with sweet custard taste to it. Like the small, mouthful size where I can pop them into my mouth WHOLE * =P *

Fish paste in Beancurd Skin - crispy yummy!

Fish paste on taufoopok with sesame top - very yummy!

The rest of the dimsum are of norm only, nothing special, and some of it not yummy at all

Jelly fish!

Yummy looking porridge but taste otherwise.

The ambience was good though. Super quiet on a Sunday morning - a good place to have heart-to-heart chat without the chaos of a dimsum place * wink wink *
