My favorite cream mask

** Product Junkie high on her fix! I seem to be buying and hoarding so much product, that I should start using! LOL! As per WL's request, I shall do some review on them for info sharing. Please note that these are all my personal opinion and also subject to compatability with my babi skin * heehee * Enjoy! **

One beauty product I cannot resist besides yummy smelling lotions and creams is - masks.

Cream, sheet, gel, overnight, - you name it, I have it. I dont like those peel-off-when dry type though.

Of all the lot, the one I heart most is this;

I simply lurveeeeeee it!

I fell in love with it upon one application. All it takes is just 10-15 mins, and wipe it off. You will reveal yourself to very visible moisterised skin - not only for the next 2 hours - but up till the end of the next day! My skin display an instant glow and visible hydrated cells.

This is my first experience with a mask which gives long lasting effect and not those immediate but vapors off quick.

What makes it more a darling is the nice smell it leaves...

It is a lil pricey - but goes a long way in terms of the multiple use and the long lasting effect. This is one product I will continue to use and would recommend one to try it if you are seeking for optimum hydration for your skin.

Handy Duster

I cant help but be attracted to this while grocery shopping 2 weeks ago.
One of the chore I hate of housekeeping is dusting. It doesnt help one bit with my sensitive nose. Hence when I come across this handy duster, how can I resist not giving it a chance to impress me? * =P *

What makes this duster different is that it traps the dust particles unlike conventional dusters which just brush dusts away from the place you want to clean to another. This is one important selling point, as the room will not be clean as the dust is just being shifted from one side to another.

Another selling point is that the "fluff" which traps the dust particals is re-fillable. Once it is saturated with dust, you can just throw it away and change a new fluff!

See the fluff? It is soft like a teddy bear too! * hehehe *

This make the chore of cleaning my room muuch more pleasant minus nose allergy attack * =) *

Bright Skin Body Polish

I ran an "inventory check" of my products and found that I have too much of everything * =P * Whats new right, hehehe

One of the category I MUST stop buying - body scrub. There is serously enough body scrub products to scrub off my skin 3 times over.

Here is one I pick out of the pile to start using;

Body Polish by Boots.

As this is an organic product, it doesnt come with a lovely scent. However, I like the texture as it is very smooth, without too much of grains in it. Despite it has a smooth texture, I admit that I thought it would not give a very good scrub. And the creamy texture gave me the impression that it would leave an oily residue after washing it off - how some of similar products do - as the creamy and texture suppose to leave a moisterising effect.

This one totally prove me wrong - it washes off well, leaving my skin smooth and clean without being harsh.

A happy meow will earmark this for my next purchase with Boots * wink wink *

Chocolate Moo

My new friend - chocolate moo! He has brown patches!

Another one in the belt of my moo-moo obsession * wink wink *

TH - His PR Smile

My cheeky nephew - a picture too cute not to share.
** SP : This is VERY recent, so dont say I post old story for you ar =P **

This is one of his 1st birthday presents.

He las learned his PR skills well - when you are in the centre of attention, flash them a smile to entertain them - regardless I am in the mood or not.

It works every time!

Latest Obsession

Thanks to ES and EO, for introducting this to us and we are now obsessed * hahaha *

What is this? This is actually a cotton puff. Not an ordinary one, mind you, well, at least not ordinary in Malaysia.

The texture is more like a cotton face mask sheet. A thin layer instead of like the usual facial cotton we use here which will at times leave fibers of cotton on your face after use.

Furthermore, it helps to save at about 30% lesser of your facial toner! Not only that, it helps to apply an even layer of product on your face, enabling your skin to absorb it better and faster than using the common facial cotton.

This is actually kiasu me cutting it into smaller pieces for higher utilization of the sheet (it was quite big piece). We got these from Hong Kong, for it is not in sale in Malaysia. Just found out recently that Watson do sell it here now, but in small quantity and much more expensive compared to HK price.

Do try it and experience this amazing product - small, seemlingly insignificant stuff that makes a difference * wink wink *

And yes, I acknkowledge my obsession with compartmentalize my stuff - I have already been sounded * hahaha *

Reading Frenzy

I have to admit - that I am another one of those who recently found myself surrounded by tens of books - BRAND NEW.

This may sound cliche, again, it is proven true that the adult working world sure hails less time for mere meow like me to indulge in past time hobby / activities I used to love. It is always;

  1. I dont have the time to read
  2. I am too tired to even keep my eyes open
  3. I have tons of much urgent things to do eg; laundry, clean my room...
  4. I am not in the mood for reading - prefers to hang around shopping for more stuff
  5. I am just too distracted by the Internet
  6. I simply did not pick up the book =P

So you see, the list of reasons can go on and on, not necessarily real / good reasons, but excuses that can sound real enough to keep one from not doing something they ought to do * wink wink *

I have made a resolution to force myself to pick up a book and actualy read - that would jump start my old habit. And so far, I think I have done okay * hehehe *

Since March 2010, I managed to read the following, PLUS one e-book, and 5 of my favorite romance books * heeheehee * not too much of my previous good ol days record, but its a progress - me thinks * =P *

That of course, on top of the numerous documents to read at work...

Okay - this may sound kiddo, but I simply lurve this series of books. You all may already been reminded numerous times of how this scaredy meow is afraid of hantu - this is one book I find myself constantly drawn to buy each time a new series is out. At times, its quality time spent with my self snuggled under the blanket with my plushies, spooking myself away with the horror bits * =P *

This book was originally meant to be a gift, but on 2nd thoughts, its not so good "yee tao" as someone's wedding gift * =) *

However, this turn out to be a very good book. It draws very vivid details of how ironic real life relationships are. Most of them are funny, and many eye-opening insights into married life (as well as what goes in married men's head). A good real for couples - I personally think it serves as a gentle reminder on the lil things / behaviours in a relationship we take for granted which builds up and damages it. Also, it shows how ugly human behaviour can be at the change of heart for newer, younger things as well as how many actions are driven by lust / sex...

I personally like the creative ways of writing by the author...

I simply lurve the book Marley and Me by John Grogan - imagine my non-existent hesitance to grab this book bearing his name. Its a compilation of the articles he actually wrote for the paper at work. Again, simple creative style of writing which never fails to captivate and mesmerise this meow

This, my friend, is a rather heavy book to read - yes, I am not kidding. With its thickness in size top with SMALL prints, I suppose this can count as 2 books in one? * =P *

And the topic as well la - about the revolutionary times in China those days as well as the struggles. Yes, I do read intellectual books also OK and not romance books only!!! This type of old China history, culture, myths, legend books is my fav genre. Surprise surprise!

One of the first thing which sealed my purchase was that the writer/victim was an ex-staff of the current syarikat kerang I worked with * wink wink * hahaha * but as it related like 85% on history, it do gets kind of dry to read at times, but nonetheless enjoyable if you like these kinda genre. Hard to imagine if we still have to live in those Heart wrenching, suffering days...

So there you go - I am determine to continue the pace I have started, to move towards the 30 books (or more?) I have sitting in the book rack - brand new * wink wink *
