Dreams - Love or fear them

* sigh... * Had another one of those weird dreams last nite...

Read an article once that what your dreams are reflects what had been playing in your mind that day or that it reflects what you yearn most in the deepest well of your heart.

If that is true, I am so so so in dire need to revamp my life... SOS...

Excited...

Tonight is RETRO NITE * LOL * :P *

It’s our division’s annual dinner with the retro theme. Yup, hafta attend in retro mode * LOL *

There’s no direction that we can leave work early to go to the dinner, where the venue is in the heart of KL, PLUS we are required to be there before 7pm, I really doubt my ability to be there on time. Certainly no time to “paan leng leng” – not that I can be “leng” regardless how much effort, but at least make myself presentable and not scare the hell out of everyone * :P * Nanti kena kick out from the party susah… * LOL *

Note how I label it as a party because from what I heard, it certainly do not sound like a very formal dinner, apparently got face painting and all – so let’s see! * heehee * But am seriously wondering – why the hell wanna have face painting for a “party” for all above 21 year old “adults”?????

P/S : Sorry for the lack of postings lately – got prob with my Bluetooth device, hence tak dapat transfer pic to the PC – but am getting it done now, so will have a flood of entries soon! * wink *

2 X 5 X 52

I am so sick sick sick of traffic jams!!!!!!!!!

Every day I spend at least 2 hours (that is when I am lucky not to be stuck in a massive jam) – about 1 hour to work and another from work. Usually, it’s the “from work” journey that can take more than an hour. It’s the dreadful getting in and out of Subang Jaya – why the hell so jam? Too many residents here and only 2 way out. Itu belum kira people from Kota Kemuning and all coming through from Kesas Highway – just another addition to the traffic jam…

Hence, 2hours X 5days a week X 52 weeks a year = 520 hours spent idling on the road a year!!! More than 21 days! Now you see why I say I am idling my life away by getting stuck in traffic jams?

I do feel that my life is idling away just by sitting in my car on the road every single working day. Well, non-working days are sometimes spent in the traffic as well, especially when you try to feed the retailers money at the shopping malls. That, has one more annoyance – the parking-jam. If you are lucky enough, you are stuck in the shopping mall’s parking lot for gawd-knows-how-long either to look for a parking space, or getting out of the parking lot.

Not only my life is wasted – hey, that 2 hours can do a lot of things leh, especially means a lot to sleep * :P * - my petrol is burning away while I am still stuck in the same spot. * sigh… * It really makes a lot of difference to your petrol level by going to and fro from work without traffic jam. The going home trip is unavoidable, any hour from 5 onwards is jammed, the morning trip still got chance to avoid jam if one set out early enough – but I just cant sacrifice my sleep too much * :p * sigh… * Public transport is not an option - not so feasible when you stay in USJ. All my hard earned money goes back to my employer… * sigh… *

CNY Mood - How to?

What can I do to get myself into the CNY mood? It is less than a month away, yet I felt as if it is non-existent in the society.

No, blasting “xin nien lai le” songs into my ears do not jack my CNY spirits up, nor hanging / putting up those CNY red decorations all over my house can do the trick (This reminds me of how Pam anticipate on my rage to tear off all the CNY decorations at my ex’s house in my threat of venting out my desire to upset his Mum * LOL * Which his Mum likes to leave the decoration on THROUGHOUT THE YEAR despite it has waaaayyyy past CNY’s 15 days of celebration, the only time they will take it down is to PUT ON new CNY decorations for the following year * pengsan * I can never understand that “culture”…) as I will most likely be happier to go on a frenzy to tear all down, stomp on them and watch the them go up in flames! * kekekeke * My destructive streak...

I really miss how we (or probably just me * :) *) anticipates for the arrival of CNY as early as a month to 2 before, getting prepared and planning for what to wear on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day. And how fun it was to tag along with my parents, jostling the CNY crowd shopping for CNY goodies, stacking up our store room with dozens of can drinks, cookies, sweet meat and all sort of CNY food. Also, how numerous aunties will come to you offering cookies and CNY snack samples, trying to persuade you to order from them sets the mood. Now, it seems that the aunties all retired? Or prolly just no one approaches me? * :P * Ah… the smell from various household tengah membakar kuih kapit – as in those still using the charcoal method kind… Now, bau eksos kereta saja yang available * :P * The dreadful few days before CNY eve, having Mum barking down your throat every half an hour to clean my room or help her spring clean the house, feeling rebelliously lazy not to do it, but reluctantly hafta do it anyway. Now, my mum just don’t give a damn anymore * LOL * cos she cant threaten us the way when we were still kids anymore * :p *

And of course, the excitement of purchasing bunga api either legally or illegally * LOL * I still remembered the times when the Government start imposing a ban on fireworks, even those minor bunga api children likes to play, those were the days when my kampung in Brickfields still exists (Now became the famous KL Sentral Monorail Station), how we kids hafta walk through selok-belok lorong-lorong gelap to reach the “merchants” of fireworks * LOL * And how the houses looked normal and when you mention “Yau Pau Cheong Mai Mou?”, they will open a huge box, or boxes or bring you into a room with the amount stock enough to blow up the whole village and tell you what is the latest “best-seller” * wink *

I guess, in order to get that CNY mood into me, I must go around asking “Yau Pau Cheong Mai Mou?” and to be treated to a room filled with fireworks of all kind and the uncle telling me which are the latest “best-seller”s, then truly my CNY has arrived… * wink * wink *

Tearful Weekend

My clan knows how much I avoid watching Korean and Taiwanese dramas – all those “ham fuu ham faat” actors and the heart-wrenching storylines. I am someone who is has “shallow eyes” * as the Chinese term it * and get hypertension watching twisted plots on drama series. Oh well, I can get teary just watching AnimalPlanet channel, what more others, right? * :P *

However, I can not escape last weekend – I terjebak dalam tangisan KwongSangWoo * :P * LOL *

How could I get into this mess… erm… pool of tears? I was watching a TVB Drama series on those family feud – mana tau sampai disc yg last, itu disc tak jalan. So got my mum to ask her aunty clan got anyone have that disc or not. One aunty thought that I like to watch drama series too * padahal I memang bukan selalu watch – itu was my 1st DVD drama series * and loan me a FEW sets of Korean dramas! * LOL *

Feel “mnn hou yee see” kalau tak tengok, so I just look through what’s in the paper bag and oh…! I just can not resist! * LOL * Got one wit my sexy man – KwongSangWoo! O-M-G!!! Resist I could not, so I watched, and ended up a box of tissue poorer… * :P * He is so darn sexy!!! The only mata-sepet guy I lurve! * heehee *

Memang sedih sangat the story – memang impressed with how they plot the story – at times very typical drama storyline, but it’s the way they plot it and how they angle as well as capture those “moments” that just swept you away…

* sigh…* Where to find a man as sexy, charming, hot (he has 8 packs!!! * :P *), sweet and pandai menipu macam itu? As I suka sangat kena tipu, memang ditipu kau-kau la with the story! * LOL * I want a man like in the drama!!! * :P * Yeah, baby, you can tipu me anytime! * kekeke *

I memang can NOT watch dramas like that – I cried and swooned and cried and swooned and cried for the whole weekend. * sigh * But it’s a good “activity” once in a while – to indulge in a fantasy story, drown yourself into the dramatic love plots (yes, SP, you know how much I admire love yang kwang-kwang-lit-lit * :P *) and get swept off your feet by the fictional, perfect man * wink * wink * Though its damaging to my eyes! * LOL * My bro can not tahan me – say I cry-cry still wanna watch! * LOL *

I seriously must stay away from such shows – too damaging for my fragile heart * :P * wink * wink *
Came across these really cute pictures, which somehow reflects how I feel recently * :P * And its panda! * LOL * Wanna dedicate to my Fuzzypanda Clan…

Panda Holiday! In a bathroom sink! * LOL * I wanna go on a holiday to the beach! Kalau-la boleh buat macam ini… Then we all can do it all the time! Yippee just to the thought itself * hehehe *

Another thing i wish i can do more often - hot bath! * heehee * Not in a teacup, of course, but if i can fit in, I dont mind! * LOL *

The air-conditioning in my office is so cold – I am tempted to wear this to work! * :P *

The weather nowadays sekejap panas, sekejap hujan… When it is hot, this is how I cope… * :P * And looked like! * LOL * No watermelon though.

Cute anot the pics? Hope you guys like them!

CNY Already?

Many times I can’t bring myself to get cozy with the idea that it is now year 2008.

The last month of 2007 is always a whirlwind period to me – it always seemed to be jam-packed with activities, the holiday mood exciting and the off days make the 4 weeks of December seem to be less than that. The pages of the calendar just tear right off without alarm.

Believe it or not, I hafta to start looking forward for CNY, which will come in a month from now. Fast, huh? It wasn’t that apparent to me, until I was blasted awake by the ever “festive” CNY songs being loudly broadcasted almost every other store in the mall! Cukupla that you walk pass the center court still bearing the Christmas ornaments, into the shops you go and you witness the CNY decorations and the unmistakably CNY songs. Another telltale sign was that most clothing stores (okay, who am I kidding? Its practically ALL) are super packed with humans tearing clothes off the hangers - beli baju raya, apa lagi, rite?

I guess I should start hunting for CNY clothes as well… * :P * Must have one RED clothing to wear to my grandma’s house… * hehehehe * Really, if I turn up to her house wearing BLACK on CNY, you think she will ;

1. Faint?
2. Halau me keluar with her penyapu?
3. Act as if nothing but curse me behind my back?
4. Yell at my parents for not “properly” educating me about the tradition?

* LOL * Oh well, I can never try it out anyway, as I don’t think I can pass my Mum’s scrutinity in the 1st place! * LOL * But its an amusing thought though… A good thing to do should I wanna rebel and demonstrate my obvious hatred to those menyampah people! * hahaha! *

Merry Belated Christmas & Happy 2008
