Thanks, Pet-Bro!

My Pet-Bro of many years mailed me a birthday card all the way from Russia!

Received it on Friday. So happy! * swoon * Thanks a lot ya! I like it a lot! So cute the pup n kittty! * :) * Its the thought that I values so deeply, yes, we shall hit haagen daz the moment you touchdown! * LOL *

Finally something to cheer me back up after the gloomy birthday Cold-splash. * hugsies! *

Subdued Birthday Mood...

Well, knowing its that time of the year does not excite me as much as it usually does...

This is prolly * mainly * due to the fact that stupid, hyper kiamsiap, unmatchable cruel LukChaat S-T-I-L-L have not issue us our pay cheque. Dah-lah they wanna pay us by cheque which will take 3 days to cash, now they wanna give late sumore! * grrrr.... * Memang "sou-hing" betul - wanna go for birthday shopping oso kenot, must delay it! Jahatnya!!!

If they dont issue me the cheque by tomolo, i am gonna go home at 6pm straight and give him the blackest face and the chilliest comment each time he talks to me! If it is due to some reason, I can accept, but apparently it was due to him boh-chup about our salary and apparently, at times, he DELIBERATELY issue it late just to penalise us for whatsoever reason he thinks he wanna get back at us. Memang small company mentality kinda people la, what else.

Memang pisses me to the brim, I officially condemn him to the deepest level of hatred in my tiny heart. I hope to death that whatever goes around, comes around - may he be blessed with such or even 100 times worse balasan ASAP.

Enough said. My birthday mood officially spoilt. SP, what more getting boozed up, i might as well grovel in the darkest corner, brewing a deadly curse to condemn him!

New Project

* Delayed Entry - 27 September 2007 *

Beginning of this week I am given a new project to do – no longer need to assist that “luk chat” * muahahahahaha! * Yay!!!! *

End of last week, Bigger Boss came in from Singapore – the one who interviewed me – apparently he hop between KL and Spore office, depending on the urgency of matters in these 2 offices. He came in, unhappy to see that I am so “free” and given menial jobs, demanded that I to have a project to do, with Miss Teruk mentoring me. He was shooting away at the senior staffs for wasting my time (in other words – his money of paying me to do nothing) giving me simple jobs where I am not learning any trade skills. He implied that the seniors did not bother to teach me about the job as well as explaining to me how to do it well, sending me blindly not knowing what I am doing. He even commented that if this is what they want me to do, might as well he hire a contract or temporary staff instead of hiring me as a permanent staff when I am not being trained to do more important things (which is getting profits for him).

*  * Yup, am glad that finally someone actually realize my presence and wanna actually give me something concrete to work on. Of course, escaping the horribly sucky “luk chat” team is a blessing – in disguise. * :P * Reverted to this new project means I am no longer in the “luk chat” project as well as my cutie manager’s. (My manager has a voice that rivals Doraemon! Seriously! Everyone in the office said so!). For now, I can not be sure yet how teruk Miss Teruk gonna be, but I can say I get a fairly high amount words of mouth around the office regarding how despicable she is –well, there goes the reputation. Hopefully she is in the extend of my toleration, or else, the war begins… * LOL * Don’t worry SP, I try to fight, but quoting Pammie who has faith that –I WILL WIN should there be a battle! * muahahahaha! * But so far so good, but also hopefully I can cabut from here ASAP!

Its raining this afternoon. Being on the 17th floor puts me in a cozy environment, surrounded by gloomy clouds. If only I can slip off to slumberland now… * sigh… *

Its that time of the year again...

Almost couldnt believe that October is ONE week away... Meaning I have ONE more week of being 23 years old!

Hard to believe I am worth two dozen years now - gone were the days when I was idling time away, imagining how it would be like when I finally completed my degree and join the rat race. Here I am, yet it does not even one bit like what I have dreamt. Well, for some parts of life, it did came true, with many blown away by the wind of change. Some experience I thought I will never capable of hit like a tidal wave, whereas some that you anticipate evaporated without you noticing.

Oh well, might as well enjoy my last week of being 23! * LOL * Time to reflect and rejoice, for every year past, is more of a gain, more of a blessing for being able to embrace life one more year.

How shall I welcome the 24th year of my life?

To be able to be with people who matters to me, to be surrounded by the warm, fuzzy feeling of true, real love is the best birthday present ever... * wink * wink * :) * In a sober state of course! * heeheehee *

Bored...

* Delayed Post - Drafted at work earlier *

Bored… bored…bored… Wrote this while in office and blog it at home * heeheehee * Kenot let them know! * LOL *

Today, my whole department riuh-rendah and everyone in extreme hyperactive mood despite most of them sedang berpuasa. Only one reactor to such phenomenon – BOSS NOT IN * muahahahahahahahaa!!! *

Yup, Boss on leave, so everywhere in office is a havoc. Laughing out loud, surf the net openly, listening to mp3 loudly, talking at the top of their lungs… So cute… Normally all serious wan… * LOL *

Right now, I am typing with 1 hand, the other holding on a piece of a mooncake, gnawing away * LOL * Some people send to office wan, not sedap despite coming from a reputable brand….. Anyway, I don’t really like to eat mooncake, but try not to decline an innocent social offer… * :) *

Am still in the midst of deciding – would a contractual job at a MNC worth me quiting my permanent job? ……. * sigh * ……. The game of choices life plays with us…

Next Saturday onwards till the end of October, will have to work, as there is an upcoming event then. So tomolo is the last Saturday for me to sleep in…

Korean BBQ at Sunway

Stumbled upon this good Korean BBQ place in the new shop lots near Mentari Sunway - lurve it. I think it is as goof as Korea House in ss2 , pricing is similar, but this one gives MANY side dishes FOC! Well, I am not sure if it is due to their new opening as promotion, but i tell you, gila happy to see the whole table filled up with the wide array of choices at no extra charges! * LOL * But then, like i said, the main dishes is a lil pricey... But the food is real good! and the presentation too! * wink *

Corn with cheese, soup (tasted like a salty miso soup but dont tink its miso) - complimentary side dishes! Can you believe it!!!!

My Kimchi-Jiggae! O-M-G!!! It was SO GOOD! Lurve it so much! Very thick broth, and heavily filled with ingredients! Salivating at the mere thought of it! * heehee *

More complimentaries! Steamed egg and pickles...

Two Korean-style salads - which I like a lot! Their dressing is something different... Sweet and sour - like them!

The mini side dishes - Yummy!

The pork for BBQ! * hehehe * Ya, they will do it all for you, so just wait and eat! * LOL *

Grilling... Cute lil grill... Ah... meat... * :P *

Memang I will recomend this place - and I will definitely repatronize this place. Will bring W@i here when she is home * wink * Service is good as well, and a comfy place, with not that many customers * yet * and big chairs and tables for us to lounge on. A good place to yak and eat and yak and eat somemore, with the abundant side dishes - really nice place to have a long, leisurely, quality dinner.

View from the 17th Floor

SP, I kenot let you see the PQ-nized work table at my office yet * :P * as I have yet to to fully transform it into my habitat * hehehe * Will update asap ya! * hugsies * Nothing much oso anyway * :P * especially when it is usually piled with documents * wink *

Anyhow, I shall share with you guys the views from my office. As it is situated on the 17th floor, it does give some good view, scary when it is raining heavily, with the strong wind howling and the gegaran of the windows - SCARY...

p/s : Took these pics when my boss went out * :P * cos apparently he dont like people messing with the blinds...

Can see Perpustakaan Negara - not far from my office actually. And the mountains!

Eye-on-Malaysia! Yup, Tasik Titiwangsa is very near as well. Feel like I should go sit on it - just for the experience. Anyone with me? * :P *

Sungai apa ni i tak tau * heehee * But a nice view * i think *

I think this side is considered the Sentul area already...

To beat the USJ traffic jam, i usually set out to work by 7am daily. I will reach my office around 8am-815am, hence entitling me time to have leisurely breakfast before signing in to work at 9am. I am lucky enough that right outside the plaza is a cluster of restaurants, ranging from Chinese to Malay and Indian. So my mornings are now very "zen" full, with me having the time to slowly enjoy a cup of hot tea while reading a book / newspaper and eating unhealthy breakfast! * muahahahaha! * Though I would rather exchange that 45minutes with a good snooze...

Roti Jala (rm1.50 or was it rm1?) - I think it is sedap and unlike any I've tasted so far. It has a lil crispyness to it - yummy! Not too heavy or oily, unlike roti canai! And the curry sauce is good as well!

Food is rather cheap at my place - can get a bowl of noodles for rm3.30 - where to find if in Subang Jaya? I had nasi lemak with curry chicken for rm2.80! And a cup of tea for rm1! And during lunch, got one old ah pek with his motorcycle sell buns and bread - he is selling buns for 60sen, 70sen!!! OMG! Where to buy 70sen cheese bun in our areas? The cheapest one selling at Berry's is like rm1.20!!! But those rice stuff like mixed rice or nasi goreng is quite standard priced la, maybe 20-30sen cheaper.

And lately, i have a companion for breakfast - this lil kitten. It always come to share my breakfast and a picky lil fella too! Chooses what and what not to eat! hmph! This is a shot of it eating a fishball, given by the chee cheong fun aunty when she saw it climbing onto some customers table, trying to sibuk people's breakfast. Like the other day, I saw a burly man on my next table, playing with the lil kitty! So sweet! To see a big Chinese man showing much gentleness and compassion on a street kitty - God bless his soul!

Greedy Nature

Sorry for not blogging actively lately - time memang ada, but no access to the computer * :P * Sorry, SP! I will post banyak banyak posts hari ini to satiate your appetite of me ok? * hehehe *

My job do allow me the opportunity to experience a many new experiences, especially of human as it requires me to interact with people a lot. I came across this incident during one of our shows, which really open up my eyes to how greedy and ugly humans humans can be! * sad... *

As this is one show of ours that are open to the public, there are some sponsors who gives out free samples/goodies. You know, those coupons you cut out and then be the first 500 to redeem them at that day kinda tingy? Well, we have that and so, you can see the many ugly sides of human doing just ANYTHING to get free stuff.

The most extreme one is this group of uncles and aunties. They come to the show only and ultimately ONLY for the free gifts. I managed to catch pics of them as evidence! * hehehe *

This notorious group are "professionals". They go around collecting goody bags and the free redemption for God knows what reasons. Ok, maybe the free redemption they can sell or eat the food, but what can they do with the pens, badges and those company merchandise that the exhibitors give to the guests who visits their booth? Not that the goody bags contain samples or wat, at most they contain those paper fans, or nametags or calenders....

This professionals are an organized gang - dont play-play wan! * :P * When the goodies piled up and they dont have enough hands to carry, they put their "operation" into teamwork. Yup, you heard me right!

You see here? They put 2 person "stationed" here to GUARD their reapings, while the rest of the "team" go around scouting for more goodies, or go back in line to redeem stuff. Notice the gunnysack behind the uncle? Yep, they even brought a SACK themselves!

This is the group going home after being satisfied with their lootings! You all should see the amount of goodies they got! To the extend that they need 2 person to DRAG the gunny sack out of the hall! * pengsan * Thats not all, they came everyday consecutively for the 4 days show! Each day with equally more lootings!

I really dont get it why people can go to this extend. This group is not the only one, there are many many more people who were like this throughout the show! They used many tricks and antics slyly to pry for more free stuff, greedy beings... To the extend that they even curi pens! I was put in-charge of taking care the reception at the VIP lounge, and when I went for a toilet break and back, the 2 pens on the reception desk for signing the guest book was stolen! WTF!!!

I really am dumbfounded and are enlighten by these experiences. I still dont understand why people can be this greedy, if for damples, yeah, maybe, but these things are not valuable and at times, a nuisance to the fact we will throw or refuse even when presented, yet these people will STEAL for it........

The world is a scary place....

Dead Tired....

I will be working 2 weeks straight with NO offday!!!!!!!

Due to the Merdeka event, which spanned the whole weekend, we were given replacement leave - to be taken at any suitable date after this TUESDAY! * pengsan * Feel damn tired cos had not been sleeping well - adjusting from my unhealthy owl-hours - and the short sleeping hours...

Oh well. Though I played an almost invisible role for the event ( I have been their staff for less than a week!), I enjoyed myself thoroughly as I find I had the opportunity to really stretch my sights as well as pick up many good soft skills along the way. Events is highly interesting - well, if you enjoy all the hoo-haas - its the pre-preparations of getting the customers that suck.

Colleagues has been taking good care of me despite them being busy like hell, they still take the initiative to be friendly as well as helpful to teach me stuff. Most of them are nice, all are approachable. There are of course, the occasional one two that must be wary of. So far so good. Lets see what is in store when the real work kicks in.

Less than one week into the work, I am already sick of the traffic. If only I can get a job which office is just across the street from my house * :P *
