KK finally here

Ooo... its finally here.

Ironically, it had been so long since I been downtown to Bukit Bintang area, didnt know that KK was already here!

** Oh, this was before I start to work in KLCC so these pics are one month old ** =P **

This in memoir of me being told that the donuts tasted like rm2.50 "hamm chim peang"

* LOL * Damnit, I never look or taste KK the same way again after that remark made while glutton meow sink her teeth into the sugar-laden carbs.

Hairclips

A rash urge to get my hands dirty on some crafts. Yeah, this is one of the activities I have neglected since joining the workforce * =( *

Not that I dont like it anymore - I am still hopelessly passionate about it - just lack of the motivation to embark on projects now. Am usually too tired when I am home on week nights and weekends I am just plain lazy or out most of the time...

Did this last month out of dunno where the motivation came...

The materials...

My end products...

A simple one this is, but I savored the energy and emotion I had from this activity.
Again, it only proves that this is one activity that feeds my soul * =) *

Pretty White Bloom

This caught me on my way barging out to work in the morning 2 weeks ago - yup, very much worth my double take...

Look how the flower grow so far away from the body of the cactus - amazing! I think this is one of the few times the cacti in our garden share with us this wonderful gift * =) *

Pretty! Meow likey white blooms! * grinning ear to ear like a Cheshire cat *
meow~~~

Transparent Pan Mee

I lurve Pan Mee. I wonder how many times have I mentioned this on my blog? * =P *

I prolly posted about this place before, but its my favorite Pan Mee so far and a recent trip to have it a few weeks ago just gotten me excited about it all over again * hehehe *

The yummy Pan Mee at ss19. The noodles are so thinly made - its translucent. Like the fact that it is very home made feel, with the dough very smooth and thin, and the soup - just yummy!

And the chili that came with it - heaven for me...

What makes it more fun is that you can drink fresh coconut there! See, pretty coconut carved flower like * wink wink *

Banana Kecik

I do not like to eat bananas but am fascinated by them * =P * wink wink *

Went to catch a drink in the kitchen and saw this comb of bananas. What caught my attention was - Alamak!!! WHY ARE THESE BANANAS SO SMALL??? No longer than my index finger, not any wider either...

* LOL * I prefer mine huge ANYTIME even if I dont eat it * =P *

Rather to be surprised by the enormous state of the size than to be disappointed by the lacking of it * wink wink *

I can after all hold on to a precious baby

* muahahaha * No, SP, the action dictates the "precious baby" as not a man in my small, fragile scarred heart, it really means a B-A-B-Y * =P *

Had a family dinner last night, and we took turns to walk baby TH around as he was being naughty and do not want to sleep in his pram. To answer to one of SP's comment on why there isnt any picture of me with baby TH - well, frankly speaking - I have never held him in my arms. Yup, never did.

Why, you may ask. No, not that I hate babies, I have to admit that I lack of the confidence to hold one. They always appear very fragile and me, well, I am really clumsy. I AM.

I always have this strong feeling every time I am around babies - "Shit, I'm going to drop him/her!!!"

My mum attempted to pass babies for me to hold many times but I always refuse. I dare not be accountable if I dropped a baby whose mum painstakingly carried in her belly for 9 months, not to mention the pain she gone through delivering it and I just casually "oops, I think the baby just slipped through my arms? " stuff. Yeah, me a paranoid.

Surprisingly, I gathered enough courage last nite to just - okay, let's try to do this. I cant be the aunt who never hold him. So when my mum hand him to me, I said OK * =P *

More surprisingly, he did not cry when in my arms and * phew * I did not drop him * =P * haha!

Walked around a bit, and then my dad came over for his "shift" to walk the baby. Immediately after I hand him the baby, Baby TH wailed.

Much more to my surprise, when hand back to me, Baby TH STOPPED CRYING. Hand back to my dad and he start to cry again, then back to me he stopped * LOL *

Mum came over and told her the story and she was laughing her heads off. She was saying prolly cos I am so comfy to lie on with my chubby body and big breasts!!!!!!

OMG.

So now, I am a milk cow babies like? * pengsan *

Thanks for the compliments, Mum. At least I know of a part time job I can do now.

Perhaps I can lure ADULT MEN to lie on my soft, cushy chest too?

* muahahahahaha * howling like a wolf *

Midnite Dimsum

* Super Delayed Entry * Yeah, am trying to clear off my back log of food entries!!! * hahaha * While I sort out my recent "activities" pics, please be patient * =P *

Always wanted to blog about this place, * or prolly I did but forgot * anyway, the pics are still in my archive - so what the heck.

For those of you like lazy meow here - whom likes to eat dimsum but lack of the motivation to wake up early to eat it * yes, waking up at 1030 on a Saturday morning IS early to me * =P * - you can try this dimsum place at ss2. They open way till after midnite * = P *

And the food is not bad too.

They do have quite an array of desserts, so if you have accompanying friend(s) who do not fancy dimsum at nite, they can feast on the desserts. This one is a unique Mango Noodles - which the noodles are actually made from jelly, cut into strips.

And for those craving for durian, they have durian puffs * heehee * Yummy!!!

Chee Cheong Funn Surprise

* Very Delayed Entry *

Had these at Midvalley - located at the LG on the connector to the Gardens. I like to eat Yong Tau Foo and Chee Cheong Fun but almost never eat that in shopping malls. hence, a pleasant surprise to find that there is a good place for this meal - though a lil pricey compared to the usual hawker place.

If I remembered correctly, this cost me about rm9... for 4 pieces of yongtaufoo over chee cheong funn

However, I find it sedap... The sweet sauce tasted just right. And the fish meat tasted really authentic, unlike those usual ones which tasted so fake and "diluted".

A recent trip back there proved that the quality has deteriorated - or prolly I was there nearing their closing time. Needs a 3rd time try to confirm! * =P *

Energy Challenge at Work 2009

* Delayed Entry *

Was pulled into helping to coordinate a booth during our Energy Challenge at Work 2009 launch. A quick one but interesting. They have some presentations on the need to play a part in our environmental issues and sharing of the activities the company has for this.

Likey the mugs they handout for employees for the move to stop using paper cups at work. * heehee *

HRV Away Day 28 -29 March 2009

OOO... I just realised that i forgot to unlock this album in Multiply * LOL * Yes, I know I have a lot of pending items to blog, will try to capture all in summary k! * hugs * Am going through this briefly here, go feast on the pics in my Multiply site.

Anyway, its my 1st experience with car treasure hunt and I hafta be the NAVIGATOR some more. Die anot! Thank God we manage to finish with only once sesat * LOL *

The hunt followed by the drive up to Genting Highlands for team building session then our annual dinner. Yup, all combined * heehee *

I even had to guzzle a can of Coke in like 30 secs for one of the games! * LOL * gila rite!

I had lots of fun, thats for the great treasure hunt team - Grace, Vivian and Daniel - and the rest of the HRV clan.

emotional...

Another cute carebear pic I tumbled upon - Emo Bear ! * LOL!!! *

I Guess This is how I look like when my tiny heart is broken and lost my path ... * hahaha *

Just Kidding , SP, dont slap me yet * hugs hugs * wink * wink *

Dont Care No Longer

Came across this really cute comic snap - so funny + cute!

If you have not noticed, I LURVE Bears * heehee * Was surfing around on Carebears (yes, I admit bravely that I am actually very childish deep inside)and stumbled upon this...

Anyway, it also struck me too on how scary it is when people start or just dont care about anything...

I hope that I wont lost that fate, and yes, I will try to always be a fuzzy Carebear to my dearies...

Nephew's Fullmoon

OOkay... Another delayed entry as TH is approaching 3 months old now * =P *

My nephew's fullmoon dinner party after a much heated discussion and some drama thrown in - in which I do not wish to speak about it anymore - let bygones be bygones - those the drama continued the day after the dinner * =P *

All is well, the dinner managed to run through the courses without any hiccups * phew... * and baby TH is super cute. Just a simple Chinese 9-course dinner with selected extended family.

Baby TH during fullmoon. Sleeping his way throughout dinner despite many probbing hands and the " ooo... he looks like KH (my bro) " conversations.

Red eggs and pickled ginger for the guests - FYI, my mum made them, yup, even the pickled ginger slices. Apparently the restaurant charge a hefty fee to get it, so wonder-mum DIY * heehee *

An upclose pic - I think SP and WL will like to eat these? Sorry dears, didnt manage to take pic of the Vinegar-Pig-Trotters-Stew for you to drool upon as they were zapped up pretty quicky by others * hehehe * Though WL managed to eat some before she left as I specifically told my month A MONTH before my nephew's birth that we must reserve some for WL * LOL *
