Scarecrow Supervisor

* Delayed Entry *

To avoid SP nag me about no posting entries about my birthday, I am posting some entries to satiate her first * =P * Wanna organize the pics and folders before blogging.

Apologies - many backlog entries and so little time + energy to post them. Sorry, SP - but thanks for being my blog's supporter! * huggie huggie * And also my daughter, WL * huggie huggie *

This entry is not about my birthday, but it happened on my birthday eve - so count oso la, SP? * =P *

One group of colleagues of mine likes to play pranks on other colleagues on a regular basis. Every now and then we will find them playing some pranks - one very creative, funny and cute lot. Makes the working environment fun, add joy and laughter to brighten our worklife * wink wink *

This particular prank captured my attention - well, not because it happened in my birthday eve, but because I am impressed at the lengths these people went to play a prank on someone.

They set-up this while he is away from office...

It looked shockingly real from afar!!! Complete with a "face", very well stuffed to look almost human!

I am truly impressed by the amount of effort and details they put into this prank!

Complete with face!

This only proves that creativity definitely exists in our office * LOL * and good humour!

Sedap!

* Delayed Entry *

Another extremely delayed entry. Had these during one of the Friday night out with colleagues at a nearby bar & restaurant around my office's area.

I simply lurve the sausages & franfurters they serve there - very sedap! You can pick what you want from the deli (yes WL, they have bacons and all) and they will cook it for you. You can choose to sit in the restaurant or at the open air bar.

Our pile of food! Unfortunately,they mixed all the types together, hence its like Russian Roulette every time you poke your fork in * =P * Because all of them look more or less the same mer...

And the dip was pretty good too.

I like these! Got Cranberries in the sausages! Yummy! And the Mashed potatoes were good too!

A good place to hangout for good ambience and good meat * wink wink * =P *

Rate : Food 7/10 (for the sausages ah) Service 6/10 Price 6/10 Ambience 6.5/10

Bangsar Curry Mee & Bali Chicken

* Delayed Entry *

Had these back some time ago - okay, way long ago as this was a waaaaay delayed entry * =P * - just for documentation purposes * wink wink *

Curry Mee in Bangsar. Had it for lunch with colleagues - apparently it is a famous one (you can find numerous newspaper clippings on the walls of the restaurant) and it has a long history selling their mee.

Going over in anticipation for good curry mee is always a bad idea - as it ended up as so-so saje - not even good. The different thing about them is that you can choose additional stuff to put in like fishballs etc. Other than that, nothing impressive other than their poor service.

Went to this place in Bandar Puteri Puchong for my friend's birthday (yep, it was that long ago - in July * =P *) which serves food Bali style. Your food is servd on A huge tray with a huge chunk of chicken.

A lil pricey for the standard of the food. Taste wise is okay, but its a good place to sit as the ambience is rather unique, with all the Balinese style decoratives.

Creative with Straws

Was amazed at numerous time when people like to play with the drinking straw after the drink is emptied. WL likes to do it and spraying others with the leftover drink in her straw, some likes to chew it, and the one interesting act I came across lately had me wow-ed...

Straw can come in handy to TIE YOUR HAIR * LOL * I decided I must post this as it will serve a good educational information to all - one new way to protect the environment by reusing your drink straw after usage - to tie your hair! * LOL *

Kudos to this guy here for his creativity. Now you know what to do when you need to tie up your hair on one of those warm nights out yumcha without your hair band... * wink wink *

Bank Security Dogs

Saw this interesting sight after one of my birthday dinner celebration with my long-time friend in Bandar Puteri Puchong.

Me without my specs at night make me doubt what I saw * =P * Spotted these dogs "louging" outside a bank.

Didnt know it was dogs from far - oh well, only me la cos I cant see well at night * =P *

Stray Dogs! They appear to "jaga" the bank ler * =P * Good security I must say * wink wink *

It will cute to think of them as Bankers * LOL *

Late Night Durian

* Delayed entry *

Was having this craving for durian one night while out with CH. We used to have a durian pig-out once very very very long time ago, where he purposely drove me to buy durians and he being the ever handyman, opened the durians himself * =) *

Reliving the memory, we do it again but this time, the friendly Abang Durian opened them for us * =P *

Our durians - didnt eat much ler - tua adi * =P *

But seriously, it's fun to be able to do such things again - catching up with buddies, doing the things we used to do together which has stopped as we grow * ahem * wiser. It assures me, gave my heart a fuzzy feeling that true friends will always make you feel the same despite not being able to meet often or no longer by your side as much as it used to be... * =) *

Curry Puffs

Saw these on one of our local show about makan-makan, where they claimed that this shop sells only curry puffs. Well, obviously the curry puffs must taste good since they sell it ONLY.

Me being on one of my manja mood during work hours, bugged J to get these for me since she was in that area during lunch time * =P *

The shop is located at Uptown Damansara, and yes, almost rm2 for one piece of puff. Other than the fact that the curry puff sedap, they also offer a few variety of filling for their puffs.

My box of puffs - served as lunch AND tea * hahaha * Hey, I did share some ok! I had the famous curry one and also the mushroom chicken. Both good, but i prefer the curry one * heehee *

And the below picture displays a very pretty pancake. Had this during one of the lunches with Boss - it was actually a Durian Pancake * wink wink * Preeeeettttyyyy... and delicious!

Buka Puasa @ Office

After the launching of our new portal last week, we had a buka puasa session at the office too. Not many attended la cos it was on a Friday night.

Just wanna share a picture of this yummy meal from my Boss' favorite middle eastern cuisine restaurant who catered for the night cos it is just so yummy!

This is it! Unfortunately, this plate wasnt mine - i saw my colleague's plate so nice hence I borrowed to take picture... * muahahaha *

Some cute shots of my colleagues caught in the act of pigging out * =P * CM here.

Cute CA - obviously happy with the food * wink wink *

New Addition to my WorkSpace

Apparently my workspace has more new occupants * LOL *

My Duckie Pillow - it's actually a Duckie Tissue Box cover on 50% sale - I stuffed a mini pillow into it and it became a Duckie Pillow! * LOL ! My manager ask why my itik buntut panjang! * LOLOLOL *

A farewell gift from N. I like how the devil peek at me from the corner of my monitor screen - no, SP, I am not as evil as he is * =P *

A duckie thank-you gift from a group of our recent new joiners. Such a sweet batch of people. It was sitting in a pretty package on my desk - the first thing I see early in the morning. So sweet...

Yeah, am lucky to have such sweet colleagues... Very much appreciate my time spent here, didnt expect such warmth and fun with these sweet souls... * =) *

Dimsum @ SS2

* Delayed entry *

Am craving for dimsum suddenly - and remembered that I have a few dimsum entries belum post * =P * Yes, SP, I know my bad * hehehe * Will blog marathon to post all up.

We decided to stop by SS2 for food before starting our shopping day, and as usual, how can we avoid dimsum for breakfast right? * =P *
A very busy shop on a Saturday morning, but food wise, okok sajer...

HongKong CheeCheongFun no good. However, the porridge is good.

LohMaiKai yg tak sedap langsung.

Siew-mai ok * =) *

CharSiewPau oso not good.

Oh well, its still an okay place for dimsum, just that it doesnt caught the likings of cerewet FuzzyPanda's taste buds * =P *

And you have to be patient as you will need to flag for ages before someone attend to you.

Melaka Day Trip 2008 - Sights

PART 2

Okies, some updates on the interesting sights during our Melaka Trip. Its refreshing to be in Melaka town as they still do have some "olden days" feel in every nook and corner you look at. I lurve a trip down memory lane anytime, hence places like this interests me, especially those olden days chinese cultures. Yeah, if only I could spend sometime in olden days Shanghai...

The sun seemed to be scorching hot in Melaka, or was it that very day only? Clear sky hence good for taking pictures * heehee *

Please pardon me as I may not remember all the names of the places we visited and I randomly selected a few of my fav pics here...

Jonker Walk

Public toilet leh! Right at the side of a shop lot. Cute!

This used to be a gym now converted into a souvenir shop.

Pokok Melaka! We ate durian cendol in Melaka under the Pokok Melaka! * LOL *

This is the buah pokok Melaka. Tiny, green, smelled like green apples * =P *

We passed by this cute barber shop. Old-school style! With customers leh! * heehee *

The tower ride - a short 7 minutes ride at the top, slowing evilving for us to have the Melaka town night view. We were too busy camwhoring while up there instead of appreciating the view and before we manage to have a good look, its time to descend * LOL *

Temple at Jonker.

Fort A'Famosa

Melaka river - I think thats the name kua * =P *

We went to a beach in Melaka! I lurve beaches!!!

Its cool how you can park you car right down the beach facing the sea, can watch sunset leh - so romantic!!! * swoon * If only KL has one too...

But the beach isnt the nice kind - pretty quiet though. Well, at least I lives and wet my feet with sea water of Selat Melaka * muahahaha * wink wink * Yeah,me and my silly thoughts again * =P *

Overall, I had an enjoyable time in Melaka. Many thanks to WH for being our patient tour-guide, spending his weekend offday babysitting us.

I shall end this with my favorite pics on our 1st road trip together - thanks for the fun, gals! * huggie huggie *
