Books Galore!

This is the first time i ever bought 3 books at one go :P

Was at Borders. They always have the promo of buy-2-free-1 all year round but i have never purchased any as they usually does not have any combination of 3 books that interests me. However, I fell into their 'marketing-trap' this time as they had a few that caught my attention. Hence, RM80 flew into the already-rich company :p Dont get me wrong, albeit spending money, I do receive the excitement from making the purchase - yeah, me the psycho who enjoys buying stuff but not yet a shopaholic. [ anyone who wants to object this statement of mine? :P ]

While cashing out bill on the way out from a sushi restaurant at The Curve, a lady ahead of us - apparently the rich type of aunty, was complaining to the cashier over some misunderstanding she had with one of the foreign waiters. Apparently she wanted to order cold ocha but the waiter told her they doesnt have it and therefore she had to order HOT ocha and then request for a glass of ice. She claimed that she was positive that they does serves cold ocha there - just that the waiter doesnt bother to seek assistance when he doesnt understand the order and insisted that they doesnt have what she requested. What the....?

She complained of how incompetent and ignorant that waiter are of the restaurant's menu and wished the managers to "EDUCATE" their workers so that other customers will not go through the same hassles as she did.

Yes, i do agree that we, as consumers should voice up our complaints and 'constructive critism' to the managements - but do you have to be so fierce and rude? Pardon me, aunty, cant you at least speak nicely without rolling your eyes big and raising up the octave of your voice? The ironic part is, she even ended that by saying she only meant to give her [apparently considerate] comments and was not blaming anyone. Yeah right, if it was just merely a goodwill comment, whats with the raised voice and eye-rolling?

There goes the national campaign of ' Budi Bahasa Budaya Kita' down the dirty Klang River of ours. Seems like we are practising ' I'm the customer, I am rich, therefore I can be loud and rude to you low-income people. '
