Dimsum

Okay, calling all dimsum kakis (gluttony pigs are invited :0) ! SP and I went to this dimsum stall in Happy Garden, PJ one sunny Sunday morning and pigged out on the arrays of dimsum they offered.

The food was good and the price is reasonable. I would say that its worth your dosh to eat their dimsum as their ingredients were rather heavily inputed in their creations. They offered a huge variety of selections, unlike some of the dimsum places I went where they dont have that many choices.

"wor tips" aka pot-stickers - dumplings filled with minced pork laced with kucai. Theirs are fatly inserted with large chunks of minced pork. One of the best I've tasted next to Esquire Kitchen's. A must try.

"charn paus" - Bread with charsiew fillings. A lil skimpy on the fillings though, but not bad tasting. Both of us loves the shiny, glazed look of these buns :P

"char-siew pau" - Ah... A dimsum breakfast necessity! Another must-eat at this shop - their char-siew pau is good. A thumbs up from me.

Some of the Dimsum we ordered. The spring rolls are good but disappointingly, the other dimsum delicacies werent that worth a mention.

Their porridge and " HongKong Chee Cheong Funn" are also recommended by me for you guys to try them out. We didnt eat those this time as we were too stuffed by the time we finish all of the above ( and a few more dishes which didnt make the pics as they went down our throats faster than the cam can snap! :P ) SP said that we gotten bloated so fast that day could be dued to us talking too much thus induced wind into our tummies :P On any other day, we prolly ate more! *wink*

Of course the ambience no need to be mentioned. Hot and rather stuffy as they tried to place as many tables as possible in the shop. There are few more other dimsum places there and we plan to try all of them in the future.

I would rate this place a 7/10 for their food.
