Garden Cafe

The beautiful Garden Cafe seems to be blooming over the town recently. I have to admit that the food was alright - and of course, the ambience is good. Everywhere you look is so pretty, makes you just wanna have tea and scones the whole day!

The one at The Curve is outdoors - parasols to sit beneath!

My 1st Musical Box

I FINALLY GOT ONE!!! YAY!!!

I have always want a musical box. Have always hope that I can get one from that special someone but unfortunately all my ex BFs either do not know of this or just never thought to get me one or just could find one which is pretty and with "the" song.

Oh well... fate it is, I guess.

I wish I can have on of every magical song I lurve.
It is always a challenge - either the box is not pretty or the song is not right. I shall not give up till I find " it ".

A belated Xmas present caught me by surprise last week. A total surprise.

A carousel musical box!!!

This is a perfect combination - I lurve carousels and this is one musical box with one of the songs I likey!!! The 1st for my collection.

He pointed out that it has ribbons - one of my favorites!

Pretty Lil Purse

I found this at those Flea Market at the Curve.

They cleverly uses this magnet board to post up all these cute lil purse. In which you can use it for your camera, phone, Ipod, etc.

You may have guessed by now that I am attracted by lovely things. My tracks were stopped and I was mesmerised with the concept as well as pretty designs.

The guy was friendly too. He was telling me how HE SEW ALL OF THEM HIMSELF.

Yup, I stupidly repeated the sentence, " You SEW all these?"

* LOL *

He even sew some of those tops on sale at his stall. He must be some guy studying fashion design or something as his craftship was good. Looks like one * =P *

** SP , FYI, he is NOT cute. So dont go thinking I buy cos he lengchai ** =P **

He even mention that he is always around, and apologise that he couldnt manage to get his printed bags on time and hafta give me those normal plastic bags.

Of course I must buy - support his talent and fellow crafter! * LOL * It was a pretty lil thing - not too bad at rm 18-20 each depending on the design.

He even have his own label set-up.

Am thinking that WL might like this. The flap is made from velcro hence it makes opening and closing the purse easy.

How? WL like? If yes I go get one for you, hehe...

Ho Ho Steamboat

Have I mentioned here before that I lurve to steamboat? * heehee *

I found my kaki steamboat now - CC likes it too! We can do it like 2-3 times a week & not get bored! * LOL *

She intro me to this Ho Ho Steamboat - we went to the one at Jalan Ipoh, KL. Not those eat-all-you-can type, this is a less damaging to you diet as they come by portions. Rm15.90 per stomach, not inclusive of drinks and any add ons. Yeah, those eat-all-you-can is more worth it with a few ringgits more, but sometimes, you just cant eat that much. Or to contain yourself from eating that much!

We like to sit there and yak yak while the pot boils away. We can sit there for like 3 hours plus just talk talk, eat and drink chinese tea * heehee * Its not very crowded over the weekdays so we like to go there after work.

Me likey their fried dumplings - very nice but at a hefty rm1 per piece... Non-halal dumplings, but very well seasoned and crispy - a must try!

This is for 2 person.

I like also how their fish ball is not those "fake", processed one sold in hypermarkets and most steamboat place. Their soup base is good too.

Any steamboat addicts out there wanna join me? * =P *

Receiving the news that Clarins products will naik harga by 2010 spurred me and CC to stock up before the year ends.

** We found out later that its a 5% price hike, to standardise the price with East Malaysia **

For now, I am hooked on Clarins skincare as this is one in many years which actually show results in my muka babi. After using it, many complimented that my skin improved and some even said I GLOWED * muahahaha *

Indeed I notice that my skin is less prone to congestion as well less dehydrated. Lurve the smell as well and its not those oily, sticky texture which I simply despise.

Though it might be a lil pricey, but to meow, what matters is that it works. o point buying something cheaper by 20 - 40% but it does not work.

I have nothing against cheaper products - being a product junkie, I welcome any at all prices as long as it smells good and works * wink wink *

But then again, like what M says - my muka babi memang hard to find products which suits * LOL *

If you are looking for new skincare and dont mind spending a bit more, do try this brand. So far, many around me tried and tested and do agree that they are effective.


To our excitement, they still carry their mini sets priced rm68-78. Me wanting to get those travel sets for my upcoming trip, this came at the right time.

And they came in cute lil boxes like this;

They also have one in a Hippo character - but I dont really need the items in that set. Sorry SP, I did thought of getting that for you...

EyelaSH Serum

I am putting on the attempt of trying on this eyelash serum. Yup, care for meow's eyelashes

So far, not much difference observed.

However, my lash does appear stronger and less prone to drop out.

And it make removing mascara mush easier and quicker.

Perhaps I should try the other brand one - more mahal one * ahahaha *

Xmas Indulgence

As my tradition every year, I will get myself a Xmas present for myself every year. Well, no one buy me Xmas present ma... * =P *

This year, I indulged myself during the Loccitane Members Sale

Hell yeah, please dont ask me how much I spent, all I can comment is a ridiculously high amount on things like these which is prolly more than my monthly car installment * blush *

But hey, a single meow like myself deserves some pampering since I am spending lonely Xmas * wink wink * C - dont pecah my tembelang ar!!!

But then again, I am happy - that is what matters right? If I dont have a man, at least I have presentable skin and smell - or so I thought of myself

Craft Log 1

I memang dah lama tak flex my fingers and sizzle my brain with my crafty side. ** Before SP tanya again ** =P **

Decided to do a lil something to my nice team of colleagues for Xmas, I decided to add a lil personal touch to it by having these handmade...

Well, it's not that much need of work, this was more of an assembling project. Just get the materials and put them together.

One of my colleague say she wanna sell it off and see how much it worth and we can set up a stall next Xmas * LOL *

That is one compliment that made my effort worthwhile - knowing the recipient appreciates my effort and the extra touch.

Coffee Success

I cant believe this myself!

Everyone knows how Starbucks always have those card for you to collect a stamp with every cup of coffee purchased and upon the X cup you can get something free.

I NEVER manage to collect enough stamps. Either that, or the promo date expires when I am like - 2 cups away or something. Oh well, the good side is that I indulge less with coffee * =P *

But finally oh finally - I SUCCEEDED!!!

Bought this over the weekend. It's love at 1st try - the inner sole is so comfy wey!!!

Yeah, would be better if it is available in a more subtle color rather than the current look-at-me yellow.

But then again, the super comfy-ness has denied me any chance of rebellion of not owning it * muahahaha *
