Bak Kut Teh and Fondue

Yay! Cindy and me finally had our bak kut teh session ! *hehe*
Went to this bak kut teh shop in Dataran Prima, PJ - recommended by Cindy * If you go to try and thinks its not nice, dont say i recommend ar! :P*

This is our pot of bak kut teh (serving : 2 person) I find the soup is rather well brewed, though not the best I've tasted. But I shall say, its a good one. Their servings are well allocated according to the price they charged. Accompanied by yau char kueh - yummy!

On top of the bak kut teh, we ordered this lamb stew. Quite sedap actually - though the stew leans towards the heavy side. *Note - serving for one* But it ended up I have to finish up the lamb stew- ironic hor, when C said she was so starved she can devour a cow. :P Dont give me the excuse that we ate pork instead of beef for if beef you could wolf down more! :P Kidding.

The environment - well, typical restaurant. It wasnt that packed when we were there. Price wise - economical la... Especially with the price of pork being hiked and bak kut teh is usually not so cheap. RM30 for 2 gluttons like us - which inclusive of drinks, yau char kueh, lamb stew, rice.

Next, well, gluttons like us will never just stop at dinner, dont we? *wink* After few indecisive rounds around Dataran Prima, we decided to head to Hartamas for fondue - another item we longed to check, heehee. As usual, it was packed in Hartamas on a Friday nite - but God of Food was smiling at us, we found a parking just after ONE try :P So here, chocolate fondue!

Yummy........! The serving was a lil small though, therefore we added an order of marshies. Not only the serving was small, even the amount of choc was low *sigh* Am putting a fondue pot into my list of must haves! The chocolate wasnt all that fantastic but the marshies were great.

Environment - alright laa... but it would be rather comfy minus the amount of guests, but I had a great companion so it was fun. Apparently, fondue is rather popular in Hartamas. Price - what would you expect for fondue? *hehe*

Here, I end this entry with a tempting pic of what I lurveeee most...

Strawberry with choc! * howling in the background* :P*
