William's Corner

Another Friday night spent eating... *ngek*ngek* C and I were by PG introduced to this makan place in PJ - near the old LimKokSayap Campus - SS berapa I tak ingat la :P

Seriously darlings, this place offers practically everything!!! From western to mamak food to Malay cuisines. And there is another chinese stall park right next. We were astounded by the varieties they offer!!! The disappointing part is that they doesnt have a menu :( I mean, with so many to offer, no menu? We were so lost... Quick glances to other tables to get an idea of what to eat and what to expect proved that this is one hell of a place to go to get spoilt for choices.

PG warned that the servings here lean towards the heavier scale, and feeling adventurous, we decided to order few dishes and share. Yup, we made the right decision... hehe...
Spaghetti with chicken chunks in tomato sauce. Dont be put off by the appearance - it actually tasted real good! Though looking like an average plate of spags prepared at home, but it was delicious! With generous toppings of Parmesan too! Yummy! See how the spag filled the plate? Hehe...

Cheese naan!!! Definitely among the best I've tasted. And the cute part is that they come with a serving of sweetened condensed milk too! And this cook was not a stingy fella - almost EVERY part of the naan was tainted with cheese! And what sets it apart form others? - they added Parmesan cheese in it too! Sedaaaaappppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!

One of their specialty drinks - Ribena with Longan! In a huge glass! C and I shared this drink and believe me, almost every other table ordered this too. A refreshing drink - up till C reminded us how it reminded her of her childhood memories of watercolors... Er....

On top of that, we ordered Tomyum Soup and Beef Lasagne too. The tomyum soup was thick and unlike those stingy mamak who gives you the occasional prawn. This was heavily dosed with prawns, sotong and chicken. A very good soup though the beef lasagne was a lil disappointing.

Since was highly recommended by few, I would recommend this place myself too. Of course, dont expect a spick-and-span clean place - its a typical mamak material, by the roadside somemore, crowded somemore, hehehe... And go prepared with tissues - I didnt see any fan around, kekeke....

Definitely will return. Anyone care to join me? :P

Rate 7 / 10 for the food.
