I totally agree with a phrase I came across in Tash Aw's Harmony Silk Factory, where this character - Peter - replied to a comment on his obsession with details and going all out to defend the things he find beautiful. Yup, I think I sama geng with him - we need beautiful details in our lives to feel complete * :P * heehee *
Oh yeah, so SP, I must say that I, as an asthete, am always hungry for beautiful things - therefore, the suka-kena-tipu syndrome in me is not my fault * :P * It just comes along with the package of being an asthete * howling... *
